Albert Chern

Albert Chern is a Master's Student in Science Communication at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He grew up in Stockton, California, surrounded by National and State Parks, and has a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. After graduating, he went to Colorado Springs, where he worked for the Rocky Mountain Field Institute as a Trail Crew Technician and then to Fresno, California, where he was a Field Ecologist for the National Ecological Observatory Network.

He is currently based in Santa Cruz, California, and interning at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center. During previous quarters, he interned at the UC Santa Cruz RNA Center and the Santa Cruz Sentinel. In his free time, he likes to play mahjong, play soccer, read, and mess with the html of this website.
